Summer reading: 2025 enhancements you don’t want to miss!

Wishing you a happy & secure summer from all of us at Holm Security!

As the days get longer and the pace of business shifts, it's the perfect time to reflect on the progress we've made and share what's ahead. So far in 2025, we’ve rolled out several key product enhancements designed to strengthen your cyber security posture and streamline protection across your environment. And we’re just getting started - exciting updates are on the horizon for the second half of the year, with even more powerful tools and features on the way.

Let’s take a closer look at some of the things what we’ve accomplished so far this year, and some of the things coming up next. By the way, we have also released a complete platform demo, which you can watch here.

Where we’ve been

EPSS eases remediation planning

We have recently added the EPSS feature to our platform. Users can now view and filter network vulnerabilities by their EPSS score, either for a specific vulnerability or a list of vulnerabilities within an EPSS score range. This enhancement makes it easier to prioritize remediation efforts based on the likelihood of a vulnerability being exploited in the next 30 days, helping teams focus on what matters most.

Remediation on a new level

We recently released a new remediation experience! Too often, remediation gets bogged down in manual tasks, scattered ownership, and ticket overload, so we’ve made it easier to manage and scale your vulnerability response.

Grouped remediation tickets means less ticket clutter and more progress. When a single vulnerability affects hundreds of assets, or vice versa, teams can now tackle everything with one ticket. Focused team visibility also ensures each team only sees what is relevant to them, improving accountability without overwhelming users. Moreover, delegation at scale becomes seamless with inherited asset ownership, meaning you’re no longer manually assigning work or duplicating effort across systems.

Improved user experience

We have also fine-tuned the user experience with a number of improvements. These include improved unification of assets, such as improved accuracy when de-unifying assets. Earlier this year, we also enhanced the API, network scans, Device Agent, and more to increase workflow efficiency.

Optimized performance & stability

We have also worked hard to ensure fast loading performance when handling larger amounts of items in different views, as well as during more complex searches and when using advanced filters. Stability has also been a great focus area, ensuring that Security Center remains fully operational. These improvements have optimized the platform for our customers.

On-premise enhancements

Earlier this year, we enhanced the on-prem appliance with a number of new features to keep you one step ahead of cybercriminals. This enhancement allows for deployment in environments with specific routing requirements, offering greater flexibility and adaptability to unique network setups. Moreover, external endpoints can now be validated for connectivity to ensure seamless communication with the on-premise appliance.

Other improvements to the on-prem appliance include granular Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) on the asset level, a new dashboard with updated widgets and customizable views, and new integrations with products like BeyondTrust.

How will we continue to innovate?

We know that attackers don’t rest, so we are hard at work to innovate and further improve our platform. We have several enhancements coming down the line to keep you one step ahead of cybercriminals.

A new report engine equips team leads

We’re planning a new reporting experience to provide flexible, easy-to-digest insights for technical and non-technical audiences alike. The new reports will be fully integrated across our platform, allowing you to export reports from various views and perspectives on your data. With these tools, those in charge of security can drive more informed decision-making and better demonstrate the progress of risk-reducing measures.

Team-sharing dashboards with granular analytics

To support decentralization and scale, dashboards can now be set up and shared with different teams. This allows different groups within your organization to view and analyze their own assets while still operating within a unified platform. These enhancements ultimately allow for easier program oversight and improved reporting alignment across departments.

A Linux agent for a proactive defense

The foundation of a strong vulnerability management strategy is accurate, timely detection. To this end, we will be adding a dedicated agent for Linux, starting with Red Hat-based systems, and plan to add support for multiple other Linux operating systems in 2026.

Advancements for cloud-native platforms

As more infrastructure shifts to the cloud, organizations need consistent risk visibility across hybrid environments. In Q1 of 2026, our platform will receive additional support for cloud-native environments, including posture and configuration risks, which will allow for a more cohesive view of your environment and ensure security is consistent - no matter where workloads reside.

Remember: Cybercriminals don’t take vacation, so stay vigilant.
