NIS

We help you comply with NIS - a new information security law

The NIS (Network and Information Security) Directive is an EU-directive that places demands on security in networks and information systems for important services and certain digital services. The directive gave a new legislation (2018: 1174) in Sweden in 2018. NIS means that all organizations that carry out important activities such as energy supply and healthcare must both work systematically with their information security - and also be able to demonstrate this. The background to the NIS-directive is not least the increased threat of various foreign powers and the increased risk of sabotage that can cause extensive economic damage.

Affected sectors

  • Energy, with the sub-sectors electricity, oil and gas
  • Transport, with sub-sectors air transport, rail transport, shipping and road transport
  • Banking
  • Financial Infrastructure
  • The healthcare sector, with sub-sector healthcare environments (including hospitals and private clinics)
  • Delivery and distribution of drinking water
