Pre-Sales Engineer

Are you passionate about cyber security and love turning complex technology into real customer value? We’re looking for a dynamic Pre-Sales Engineer to join our team in Amsterdam.

In this role, you will partner closely with our Sales team as the technical expert in customer engagements. You will bring Holm Security’s platform to life through compelling demos, trials, and proof-of-concepts, showing prospects how our solutions solve real-world security challenges.

You will:

  • Lead technical pre-sales activities, including demos, trials, and PoCs

  • Translate customer needs into tailored solution designs

  • Provide architectural guidance across the Holm Security platform portfolio

  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers throughout the buying journey

  • Collaborate with our Sales team to shape and develop winning solution proposals

  • Contribute to strategic sales plans for key opportunities

You will not only showcase features - you will clearly articulate business value and position Holm Security as a long-term security partner.

To stay ahead, you will continuously build knowledge of competitor offerings, market trends, and emerging technologies.

Who you are

You are customer-focused, technically sharp, and naturally consultative. You thrive at the intersection of technology and business and enjoy working as part of a collaborative team.

We believe you have:

  • A strong interest in cyber security and emerging technologies

  • Experience within network infrastructure, TCP/IP, web applications, social engineering, cyber security solutions, SaaS and/or on-prem deployment models

  • A solid understanding of market dynamics, including competitors, technologies, product positioning, strengths, and weaknesses

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English

  • Proven technical expertise combined with consultative selling skills

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar pre-sales or technical sales role

  • You are curious, driven, and eager to continuously develop your expertise
